Demi Lee Messer

Demi Messer joined Eppes & Plumblee in April of 2022. She was born and raised in Woodruff, South Carolina. She is the first in her family to graduate college with a bachelor’s degree and is a first-generation lawyer. Demi started her career in law as an attorney with the 13th Circuit Public Defender, where she hit the ground running, practicing criminal law and representing hundreds of indigent clients.

An Aggressive Advocate

Throughout her career, Demi has primarily focused on criminal law and has represented many individuals charged in multiple levels of criminal court. She has expanded her practice to advocating for clients in Civil Rights claims. She excels at negotiations and at trial using her determination and a passionate approach to each case. While advocating for her clients, Demi has been described as “professionally aggressive” and generously referred to as a “pit bull in a skirt.” She loves the practice of law and defending her clients’ interests and rights. Demi firmly believes that individuals in need of legal services deserve the representation of someone who is understanding of their perspective, and someone who will aggressively advocate for justice for each client. She is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve the community and advocate for individuals in need of legal services.
