Margaret A. Chamberlain

My wife and I hired the Chamberlain Law Firm to help us with a custody case during a time when same-sex marriage was not recognized in South Carolina, therefore our Vermont wedding held little weight. The custody agreement was quite restrictive and prohibited my wife and I and our children from livin...g together unless legally married. Margaret and her team worked tirelessly for us, and in July of 2015, we won our case and were finally allowed to live together as a family. We then hired them to draw up wills for us. Margaret and Melissa are professional, attentive, supportive and determined. After losing at our very first court hearing, my wife and I were feeling hopeless. The next day, we received a card in the mail from Margaret assuring us that the fight was not over, and she would continue until we won the rights we deserved. We would recommend Margaret to anyone! (We were so pleased with Margaret that we actually named our Great Dane puppy after her.)
