About Adrian
Biography
I'm a former prosecutor, now a trial lawyer representing people in personal injury cases. I am admitted to practice law in South Carolina and Georgia.
I was born in Romania, under one of the most ruthless Communist dictatorships in Eastern Europe. After I graduated law school in Romania, I had the opportunity to come to the United States and continue my education. I studied at Charleston Southern University and graduated University of Kansas School of Law. While in law school at Kansas, I was able to clerk for a federal judge in Kansas City.
My experience includes being a prosecutor for 6 years, handling and trying all sorts of cases from grand larceny, felony driving under the influence, trafficking in drugs, burglary, robbery, kidnapping, etc. Also, before starting The Dejeu Law Firm, I worked as a trial lawyer for a personal injury law firm, handling and trying personal injury cases exclussively.
My wife and I have been volunteering with the South Carolina Department of Social Services as foster parents since 2012.
Growing up under Communism, I witnessed first hand what it means for people to be deprived of their rights. It's one of the reasons why I studied law. I believe that fighting for my clients' rights is my calling. For me, being a lawyer is not just a job, it's a calling.
