Emily Mcree Sordian

I'm a South Carolina licensed attorney who primarily practices in the area of  Family Law and Estate Planning. I graduated from the University of North Florida in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. I completed my  undergraduate studies in three years, was on the Dean’s list every semester and graduated with Cum Laude Honors.

I later attended Florida Coastal School of Law and received my Juris Doctorate Degree in 2011. While in law school, I was an active member of the Animal Law Society, and the Family Law Society. I received honors in law school for my pro bono commitment. I committed much of my time during law school to the Quigley Law Clinic which I co-founded with one of law school professors. We provided legal services to women in need. Shortly after law school, I moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina because of my strong family ties to the area. 

I am a certified Attorney Guardian Ad Litem for Family Law cases in South Carolina. I am actively involved in the Women Lawyer’s Society, South Carolina Animal Society, and the American Bar Association. Additionally, I serve as a chief attorney for Lifeline, a local women’s shelter.
