When I was referred to mrs Stevens, my hopes were high, I was about to start an at fault divorce, she cheated on me, very easy case to address and should be a short term one as well. My ex didn’t have legal representation at that time so obtain a first temporary order was peachy. After awhile she h...ired a very good lawyer that started to make my life miserable. Sometimes I questioned myself where is my lawyer? At some point she started to agreeing with the other party’s lawyer and making pressure on me instead of standing by my side and acting like someone that was there to defend my interests, not the opposite. One day the other lawyer asked mrs Stevens who would write down the agreement, her answer was: you may do it! Really? Who does she think is going to dictate the terms of the agreement in a situation like that? I started to question mrs Stevens reasons to act like that, including if she was feeling intimidated by the other lawyer. Instead of giving me a straight answer she started to give me a speech of how bad I was making her feel and end up quitting her position as my lawyer. Now her lawyer already told me my ex is the one writing down the terms of our divorce. Congratulations mrs Stevens, you did a very poor job, cost me a lot of money, didn’t give me any results and left me when I needed you the most. If I could have my way she’d have to return me every penny she took from me without giving me any results.
