Andrew William Kunz

Andy’s practice focuses primarily on wrongful death, medical malpractice, dram shop liability, products liability, trucking, motorcycle, and motor vehicle accidents, and other forms of serious personal injury and complex civil litigation matters.  Prior to joining Elliott, Phelan & Kunz, Andy worked in Columbia, South Carolina as a trial attorney at an established South Carolina litigation firm advocating for the rights of insurance companies, large corporations, small businesses, and individuals in a variety of complex civil liability matters throughout South Carolina state and federal courts, before returning home to Georgetown County.  At Elliott, Phelan & Kunz, Andy is able to draw on this unique background and apply his experience and skills while representing individuals and their families in an effort to achieve the most favorable results possible on their behalf.

Andy has also been named a South Carolina SuperLawyers Rising Star every year since 2015, and was honored to receive an AV “Preeminent” Peer Review Rating by Martindale Hubbell for the Highest Level of Professional Excellence.  Away from work, Andy enjoys spending time with his wife and his two sons, fishing, and attending as many sporting events as possible.
