David Charles Johnston

David Johnston is an accomplished attorney who helps clients throughout South Carolina in a wide range of matters involving personal injury and workers’ compensation. Specifically, Attorney Johnston applies his decades of experience to helping clients’ secure full and fair compensation after they’ve been hurt on the job or were injured as a result of another’s negligence or carelessness. In each case he handles, no matter how difficult, David focuses on providing personalized attention and positive results.

After earning his BA in computer science from East Carolina University, David went on to graduate from Campbell University School of Law, where he served as the Court of Appeals Editor for the Campbell Law Observer and was a Moot Court Finalist. After law school, he gained extensive experience in personal injury, workers’ comp, Social Security law, and estate planning while working at some of the top firms in the Carolinas.

In addition to his legal experience representing local South Carolinians, David was also invited to work as a legal advisor to several private security providers during the Iraqi conflict in Baghdad in 2004. During this time, he worked with top agencies - including Sabre International Security, American Iraqi Solutions Group, and Special Operations Consultant (SOC) International Security. He was instrumental in assisting one organization’s establishment of a 1,500 man guard force to protect the perimeter of Victory Base Complex, which housed top military officials.

David has been a resident of Charleston for nearly 20 years and has dedicated his career to helping hard-working men and women across the state with the same level of passion and dedication he devoted to those who served our country.
