Simply the best! Excellent strategist, efficient and effective.

I strongly recommend Bill Padget if you need counsel that can litigate your position without fear of counsel dragging out a case to generate legal fees. Bill was able to assess our position swiftly when we fell victim to a frivolous suit related to a an alleged contract default. The seller had misre...presented a material fact related to environmental concerns and we accordingly terminated within the provisions of the contract. The seller refused to release our earnest money deposit and tried to sue for specific performance. We were forced to defend ourselves and Contacted Bill as local counsel. It was immediately clear that Bill wasn’t going to take advantage of our vulnerability. An extremely reasonable retainer and we were off to do battle both diplomatically and strategically. Each stage of litigation was handeled precisely as we discussed. Within a short period of time utilizing ideas that came from our joint strategy sessions where we fleshed out our best course of action, Bill swiftly out witted and cornered opposing counsel both procedurally and with respect to the facts of the case by clearly demonstrating the enormous legal and financial exposure of the plaintiff. They begrudgingly surrendered their position when we filed for summary judgment with an expanded demand for damages. If everyone practiced the way that Bill and his firm do, the court system would be far more effective, efficient and ethical.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
