Eric G. Pettis was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he attended Millersville University and earned degrees in Political Science and Economics. In addition to graduating cum laude at Millersville University, Eric also received the A.G. Breidenstine Award as the winner of the university’s best research thesis his senior year.
Upon graduation, Eric enjoyed a short career in politics and state government including serving as the special assistant to the Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania. Altogether, Eric has worked for three different state governments: Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and South Carolina.
After working professionally, Eric decided to pursue his life-long dream of helping those in need as an attorney by attending the Charleston School of law. While in law school, Eric worked for two local non-profits, a small boutique law firm, and the 9th Judicial Solicitor’s Office. Eric also served on the Charleston Law Review where he was later published for his article that addressed Searches and Seizures under the Fourth Amendment. After graduation, Eric was offered a judicial clerkship in the Charleston County Probate Court where he served at the pleasure of the Honorable Judge Irvin Condon among three other associate judges.
As an associate attorney at Koontz Mlynarczyk Belger, LCC, Eric is focused on helping clients with their civil litigation needs. Eric is admitted to practice in South Carolina and U.S. Federal Court.
