Daniel Ezekiel Martin III

Daniel is actively involved in the legal profession and the broader community, currently serving on the Board of the Charleston County Bar Association, the Charleston County Board of Voter Registration and Elections and the SC Black Lawyers Association. He has seen firsthand the challenges faced by those who are less fortunate and is committed to giving back whenever possible. He is deeply committed to mentorship and community service, serving as a mentor with the Rhema Life Inc. Mentoring Program — which aims to build a nurturing community that fosters spiritual, emotional, and personal growth for Charleston’s youth — as well as through his involvement with his fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha, The James L. Petigru Inn of Court, The SC Bar’s Young Lawyer Division, 4 Rivers Community Outreach, and the YWCA. His passion for the law and commitment to the legal community was not gone unnoticed, as he was recognized as the 2025-26 Young Lawyer of the Year by The Charleston County Bar Association.
