Mark Calvin Brackin

I retained Mr. Brackin in June 2025 and paid the retainer fee and he was reachable until I decided I wanted to pursue a court case. My last contact with him was in November 2025 where he stated court would slow down due to the holidays. I was respectful as he said that he would reach out after the fi...rst of the year. He never did and he never responded to 4 emails and six phone calls. He sporadically would provide account information of where my balance stood even after multiple times of asking him because I know he has a young family. I am in the process of filing with the SC State Bar for failure to communicate with a client. Very disappointed. I still do not have my mother's ashes that have been sitting at the crematory for a year and a half. I would not recommend although he seems to be a nice person...he was not courteous in his professional behavior of letting me, a client be aware that he wasn't going to represent my case further.
