Jessica Miller Turano

Jessica Miller Turano is originally from Charleston, West Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from West Virginia University Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, along with receiving minors in Political Science and Communication Studies. Jessica began her legal education at West Virginia University College of Law in 2017, where, in 2019, she was a recipient of the Joyce E. McConnell Scholarship for her demonstration in high levels of leadership, industriousness, and academic excellence. During her time in law school Jessica was an active member of the Student Bar Association and received a CALI award in Pre-Trial Litigation. In the Summer of 2019, she moved to Charleston, South Carolina where she interned as a Legal Clerk for the Honorable Irvin G. Condon in Charleston County Probate Court. Jessica finished her legal education at West Virginia University College of Law in 2020. Prior to joining Pierce Sloan in 2021, Jessica worked at her family’s law firm in West Virginia representing clients in employment discrimination matters.
