In 1997, Attorney Jones was selected through the United States Attorney General's Honor Attorney program to serve as a law clerk for the Immigration Court (1997-1999). He then served as an immigration prosecutor United States Immigration Naturalization Service (INS) and later with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as Assistant Chief Counsel from 1999-2020.
