Ryan Kyle Hicks

A South Carolina native, Ryan K. Hicks is from the nearby town of Lexington. He began working with J. Lewis Cromer & Associates as an associate attorney in July 2013, after gaining several years of experience working for law firms in both South Carolina and Florida.

Ryan is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he received a B.A. in Political Science in 2009.

He went on to graduate with honors from the Florida Coastal School of Law in 2012, where he was a Dean’s Scholar and recipient of the Governor’s Merit Scholarship. As a law student, Ryan completed his final semester as a visiting law student at the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, Ryan clerked for a firm whose primary practice area included civil litigation and association representation. He has also gained invaluable experience in the areas of criminal defense, contract disputes, bankruptcy and tax, and probate matters.

Mr. Hicks’ current practice focuses on various legal claims, often involving employment, which are brought before both state and federal courts. He also works with clients on claims before the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and South Carolina Human Affairs Commission.
