Curtis Yu Chow

Curtis Y. Chow is a member of the Immigration and International Practice Group of Ogletree Deakins, representing employers in all aspects of U.S. immigration law and compliance, as well as international employment matters.  Mr. Chow counsels employers in I-9 and E-Verify employment eligibility issues, including internal audits, government investigation, general compliance issues, and immigration related discrimination issues.  He also defends clients in federal employment discrimination claims, including actions alleging discrimination, retaliation, and harassment.  Mr. Chow also regularly assists employers with obtaining immigrant and nonimmigrant visas (“green cards” and temporary work permits) for their foreign employees.

In addition to his U.S. immigration practice, Mr. Chow advises multinational companies on a broad range of international legal issues, including global workforce mobility, compliance with foreign labor and employment laws, and other ancillary issues faced by companies with operations overseas.  Mr. Chow is proficient in spoken Mandarin, and possesses limited proficiency in Spanish.
