Bob Mobley Cook

Bob M. Cook had been a solo practitioner since 2011 before joining forces with David Blackwell. He previously served as a law clerk to Judge Brooks Goldsmith in 2005-2006 and as a prosecutor in the Berkeley County Solicitor’s Office from 2006-2008. Bob was in private practice in Camden, SC from 2008-2011 before moving home and starting his own practice. Bob practices mostly in the areas of criminal defense and personal injury. However, he also handles litigation matters, probate cases and even some real estate closings.

A native of Kershaw, Bob is married to Madison Bowers Cook, a Special Education teacher at Andrew Jackson Middle School. Bob and his bride-to-be have two dogs: Court, a Golden Retriever, and Milly, a Maltipoo. 

Bob’s hobbies include playing or watching most any sport. When he’s not playing or watching sports, Bob enjoys relaxing with his fiancé and their two dogs.

Bob loves his job because he enjoys helping people. He loves standing up for those that have been wronged or taken advantage of and making sure their rights are protected. Bob admits the toughest part of his job is that there are not enough hours in the day to accomplish all that he needs to get done. Because he loves helping people, he often has a hard time saying ‘no’ when someone needs help with their problems. 

Seeing the look on a client’s face after getting a favorable result in his/her case is the most rewarding part of Bob’s career. When a client tells a friend good things about him as an attorney and he hears of it, there is nothing more satisfying.
