Knows the law and how to use it

Mr. Hunter represented me in a wrongful termination and won without going to trial. He interrogated the opposing team with style and class but also with charisma that almost embarrassed them. I have referred many other people to Mr. Hunter as he will represent with dignity and respect while fightin...g for the best possible outcome.

Awesome Emplyment Lawyer!

Mr. Hunter was amazing! He examined my situation thoroughly and was able to come up with a clear plan that led to a successful conclusion to my lawsuit.

Knowledgeable and Professional

From day one Mr. Hunter was easy to communicate with on all issues of concern. Mr. Hunter throughout the entire process anticipated how the state would respond to each and every correspondence. Most always he was accurate and explained thoroughly the legal process for state government. His years of e...xperience with employment & labor disputes were demonstrated daily. Mr. Hunter kept me aware of all possible scenarios with my case and their was never a lapse in communication. Mr. Hunter came highly recommended and could not have ask for any better representation.

Experienced and dependable

Mr. Hunter was referred to me as one of the attorneys in our area having the most experience with employment and labor disputes involving the State of NC. I retained Mr. Hunter and have been extremely pleased with his work which resulted in a winning judgment for me. We communicated frequently th...roughout the process via conference calls and in-person meetings. Mr. Hunter explained, in detail, the legal process for state government lawsuits and rulings so that it wasn't a mystery, and we also discussed our defense strategies every time we spoke. It was evident from the start that Mr. Hunter did indeed have extensive experience in dealing with employment issues. I would highly recommend, and actually have already recommended, Mr. Hunter to anyone needing representation regarding any type of labor/employment issues.

He'll take the money and run....

Horrible experience with John Hunter. He was terrible at returning calls. Most of the time I was told he was out of the office or on the phone and would be given a message to call me back, but rarely ever did. I would have to call over and over and then i would usually get an email to answer the ques...tion i had, instead of a follow through call. Then the process would start over if i had another question. Very aggrevating!! Months would go by before I would hear anything about my case. He would promise to call and get an answer....then nothing till I started calling over and over again. This was the process every single time!! In the end he didn't fight for me at all. He got their first offer and basically told me to accept it. I had to say no, and come up eith a counter woth no help or advice from him. When we first met he told me what we would be pushing for, and he was sure of himself and our case. When he finally got an answer 1 year later, yes ONE YEAR later, when i was defeated and tired of fighting by myself, what he told me to take was 1/5 of what he told me I deserved. I believe he was severely outsmarted by opposing counsel. So disappointed and disgusted by the lies and lack of fight in John Hunter. I will never recommend him and will actively tell others of my heart breaking experience.

I am sorry you had the experience you are describing and it is clear that you feel very emotional about it. Neither the matter nor the outcome you describe sound familiar. It is always my goal to achieve the best outcome for a client given the facts and law in their case. I encourage you to contact me directly to discuss your specific concerns.
