Ellen Gilbert Rose

Ellen was assigned as a parenting coordinator out of the Buncombe County Family Court in NC, for mediation between me and my child's mother. I am the father. Ellen did not respond to many of my requests that she interveine when the mother would be committing acts of child neglect. Ellen would say ...positive things about my fatherhood, then write reports to the court shedding me in a negative manner - complete reversal of attitude. Ellen also said she needed to know all kinds of past information about our case, charged us for these times, then didn't use this information for any kind of present or future mediaition. When I informed Ellen I was going out of the country for an overseas work contract, she refused to mediaite child visitation for me, which is one of her primary duites to fullfill, then asked to be paid for this non-action. Any any time of her involvement, if I tried to defend me or my child's rights, or argue with her methodology, she would accuse me of being "aggressive", and "bullying" her. After many months of involvement with her as a mediator, I truly feel she is biased against fathers.
