Lauren Nicole Privette

Lauren Privette is a family law attorney who serves clients throughout Western North Carolina. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, she came to North Carolina for law school and quickly grew to love the people, the pace, and the mountain communities that make the region unique. Western North Carolina is now home, though she still proudly cheers on the Kentucky Wildcats. Before becoming an attorney, Lauren spent several years with the Clark County, Indiana Prosecutor’s Office, working as both a victims’ advocate and a paralegal. That experience placed her alongside people going through stressful, emotional situations and helped shape the steady, compassionate approach she brings to family law today. Lauren is committed to supporting her community and helping clients navigate major life transitions with practical guidance and clear communication. She approaches each case with a solutions-focused mindset, a willingness to dig into the details, and a goal of empowering clients to move forward feeling informed and confident. Outside the office, Lauren enjoys time with her wife, their dogs, and family, exploring local trails, stopping for coffee along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and taking drives through the mountains in her ’94 Jeep Wrangler.
