Bill Barnes expects to be paid for not doing any work. He nor his staff return any calls, nor do they copy you on any correspondence sent out or received on your behalf. I hired him and got shafted in the end. After thousands of dollars paid to him everything stayed the same as it was when I hired ...him. I could've represented my self and saved the money and gotten the same results and have more money in the bank.

Mr. Barnes initially took my case for a set price. The ONLY thing that was done over the next approximately 9 months, was to continue the case again and again. Apparently no effort was made to settle the case, and when the 3rd continuance expired, he demanded more money. Instead I fired him. He w...ould not return phone calls or even entertain a request for the return of my money for accomplishing nothing. If someone were to ask me about his attorney skills, I don't know because he only demonstrated procrastination skills. If someone were to ask me about his business skills, I would say stay far away. The next attorney I hired had the desired outcome established in less than 48 hours.
