Biography
Woody Griffin is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina, and the cornerstone of Griffin, Wells & Queen. With nearly 40 years of experience practicing law in Western North Carolina, he has built a strong reputation with both clients and attorneys. Woody is well versed in wills, trusts, estates, business law, real estate, and municipal law.
Woody also worked as a trust officer for more than three years at First Union National Bank (now Wachovia Bank), and is a certified mediator by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission.
Woody is a member of First Methodist Church and currently serves as attorney for the Town of Waynesville. He is an active member of the Waynesville Rotary Club and a former member of the local advisory board of the Salvation Army. Woody loves fly fishing for wild trout in the clear mountain streams of Western North Carolina.
