Terry M. Taylor

Terry brings over 25 years of practical yet innovative experience to the real estate arena. Terry has a keen understanding of the client’s needs and quickly develops a plan to make the client’s vision a reality. Terry is certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a specialist in real‑property law for business, commercial, industrial, and residential transactions. Terry’s law practice includes primarily commercial real estate law, business and corporate transactions, local governmental entities and authorities, tax-exempt organizations, wills and trusts, and estate planning. Terry has a broad range of transactional experience including complex asset sales and purchases, and experience with work outs of troubled loan situations. She also has extensive experience with municipal and county land-use planning issues such as zoning. She is the attorney for the Hickory‑Conover Tourism Development Authority, the Western Piedmont Regional Transit Authority (Greenway Transit), and has served as the Town Attorney for the Town of Sawmills since 1988.
