Total WASTE

Do NOT WASTE YOUR time or MONEY - find ‘professional’ representation. This woman is nothing more than RUDE. As a professional myself, I was completely DISGUSTED by her profound disrespect toward another, especially since I was paying her to merely do her JOB (which was a simple, basic case to begin... with). After paying for services in full (and I did not object to paying for any additional time or other needs whatsoever) she then made me aware that “I” would be doing most all of HER WORK FOR HER and only spoke to me at all times as if I were completely ignorant. Anyone that reviews her well, is likely only herself!

4.5 minutes for $250

She ran 35 mins late for our appt. Did not introduce herself or shake my hand. I waited for her to offer me a seat and she didn't. She looked over my form and cleaned her glasses. I talked for a few minutes when she cut me off and stood up. She was done. I called back a week later to ask another q...uestion and her secretary (who is just as rude but strangely wasn't rude to the two male Marines in ther office) told me I would have to pay another $250 consultation fee as I had failed to retain her. This was news to me. I was never told I had to do something special to retain her. I decided to find someone else because I felt like I was a criminal instead of a woman seeking a divorce.

Rude and uncaring

As previously stated 5min rushed, rude, and gave no answers or information except her cost. Kept standing up basically trying to shew me out. After, being late to our scheduled appointment.

Same bad experience

I read the other review on here and couldn't help but feel the need to leave my experience too, as it seems like a trend. I also paid the $250 to consult with Ms warlick regarding my divorce, and was left feeling very unsatisfied. It was a very fast 5 minute consult, and I almost couldn't believe t...hat she actually charged $250. I wanted specific information about how to start proceedings in my particular situation. She simply told me I had to wait 1 year and ended the consult. Later, I visited another local attorney who told me that waivers can be signed and there was a lot more that could of been considered. She has a reputation for being a bulldog divorce attorney, and I'm sure it's well deserved. But, I cannot say that I would retain someone who did not seem to care in the slightest about my situation. I found her to be cold, off-handed, dismissive and arrogant.

Review

Researched lawyers in area for upcoming divorce and obviously she is rated as one of the best in the area with a resume to match. Went in for a "consultation" and left needing a consultation. Didn't answer any of my questions. It became obvious upon first seeing her that this is going to be a one ...sided conversation and I'm not going to get any answers. Who doesn't introduce themselves to someone who just paid your electric bill? Come on Lana, I gave you $250 at least say hello and shake my hand. We sat down, I explained me case and all that came out of it was how much its going to cost going forward. I specifically asked 5 questions that I wrote down and didn't receive any answers. Just like a politician. Its all about her getting money. Consultation lasted 14 mins and I was out the door trying to find a way to justify, in my mind, the $250 I just spent. I guess now I know how much its going to cost to retain and utilize her for any future divorce proceedings. You're welcome. This meal is on me Lana.
