Will Not Ever Recommend for Criminal Court.

There’s many things wrong with my current discovery. I learn things from any other source’s (family friend that studied NC law) i share it with him it’s always wrong. I’ve had two other lawyers look at my discovery and say it’s positively fightable and one turned me away all together lol. Or more or ...less he’ll hint if I actually paid him I wouldn’t be used as a pawn and sent back to prison for a drug I’ve never had. He says “Money talks” lmao I’m being offered 35-51 months as the first plea to take a trafficking LSD charge and a selling meth charge. I’ve never seen 100 tabs alone together. I used meth and bought as much as I could afford from the CRI. so how am I going to be charged for that? Lee Britt is a good lawyer according to my family in family court. While I was incarcerated he wouldn’t print me anything to study in law and other lawyers such as Paul castle, Nathan sweets, Matt Silva, etc are making sure their clients, retained or appointed, had paper copies to sit, study, and learn in their cells. I haven’t been indicted on the trafficking charges and he said that’s the only deal he’ll get that I should pay a lawyer if I want better results. I’ve missed my daughters birth, and first birthday I don’t want to miss anymore of her precious life unless it’s for something I actually did. The officers arrest statement is completely wrong and the camera at my place of arrest would show and then JPD would get scrutinized regardless because of how they did me. Of course Mr. Britt hasn’t asked for that lol. Zero, nada, No drugs where found on me, near me, in my car, or in my home. DO NOT HIRE MR. BRITT for criminal court. I’m trying to figure out how to get him to step down from my case. He doesn’t return phone calls. He’s yet to let me, the defendant see some alleged tape they’ve got. He’s neglectful. I’m writing to the Bar of Associated again on him.

Excellent family law lawyer, caring and kind

I hired Mr. Britt in 2010 after my estranged husband had managed to get a restraining order saying I could not contact my then 3 year old daughter for two weeks after he had assaulted me. It was a nightmare I could not wake from. My ex went to the magistrate and swore out a warrant saying I had ...assaulted him and I had to turn myself in. Normally there is a 48 hour hold on domestic assault. Mr. Britt spoke with the A.D.A and I was in custody a total of 47 minutes. When Mr. Britt was threated by my then mother-in-law in the courthouse, he stood his ground with out lowering himself to that level. He returned every phone call, even if it was after hours. He helped me to stay calm and realize it was the end result that mattered. He told me it would be okay and it was. The district attorneys office dropped the charges my ex had taken out on me. After Mr. Britt spoke to my ex's attorney I was given primary custody of my daughter. I now have full custody and my ex has supervised visitation. I have hired Mr. Britt again to finalize my divorce and change the custody order. He always asks me if I am safe, he shows compassion and caring. My daughter likes him and that speaks volumes. When I was unable to go to the courthouse to get a copy of the custody order in December of 2014 and my ex was threatening to take my daughter, Mr. Britt went and obtained a copy for me. He brought it to my place of employment, sat down and spoke to me, and made me feel like there was someone who understood. I will be forever grateful to Mr. Britt for everything he has done for my daughter and myself. He got me in touch with the women's center in Jacksonville and I don't know if he even realizes what a huge impact that had on my life and my daughter's life. My daughter has a healthy, loving and most importantly safe, home now. I would recommend Mr. Britt to anyone who needs a compassionate family practice attorney. He is not only a great attorney, but an amazing person as well.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
