About Joshua
Biography
As the managing partner at Tetterton Law Firm, I practice Criminal and Traffic Law exclusively in Carteret County. This allows me to handle clients’ cases in a timely and effective manner, while working daily with the same prosecutors and law enforcement officers. During law school I interned for the Harnett County District Attorney’s Office, as well as with a private firm in Raleigh. After law school my family and I moved back to our hometown of Morehead City to be closer to our family and for me to start my own practice. My beautiful wife and I have two boys and a yellow lab named Sailor. In my spare time I enjoy Jeep rides, boating, fishing and watching my sons play tee ball and guitar. I have served on several boards including the Carteret County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council. The Beaufort Historical Society and Boy Scouts of America East Carolina Council are organizations in which I take pleasure in volunteering.

Great Traffic Attorney
Great experience. Like many people, I was driving down to the outer banks and was speeding a little and received a hefty ticket. Josh was very professional, responsive, and helpful. Him and his wife made the whole process seamless.

I garnered a speeding ticket in eastern NC. Mr Tetterton represented me and got it reduced to an improper equipment. He even answered the phone after the hours listed on his firm's mailing! Highly recommended.
