Not So Good

She seems like a nice person but she refused to take my phone calls she left a warrant on me. After telling me both of my cases were combined and I got stuck with that warrant went to jail and had to bail out she never returned any of my phone calls for over 2 months I finally got in touch with her s...ecretary and finally gave me a cell phone number to reach her at she failed to respond to my text and failed to respond to my phone calls and my voice messages not only me but my mother's and my boyfriends and I feel that a couple of our numbers got blocked cuz we were calling them so much and then all of a sudden they're going straight to voicemail but not a voicemail saying it can't be completed as dialed what lawyer does that? And then when you're in court with her you tried to talk to her and you don't even get to talk to her she says what she's got to say to you and then basically she's done I feel that she is more for the da and the judge working for them rather than working for their paid client and I felt really let down and I'm also having to drive 5 hours back and forth to Brunswick county from where I live. But I'm always there when told to be there I may be a little late but I'm always always there and it's like every time I'm in there I'm being arrested and having to post bail every single time I don't think there's been one time that I went down there and got to ride away well I did after I build out but anyways anyway I don't think she should be a criminal lawyer I think she should stick to with the little things or get a few more years under her belt because three ain't doing it. Until she can show me what she's capable of or something to get me out of what's going on then I do not recommend her I will follow up after my case is ended to let you know how this turns out.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
