Carla L. Gannon

Carla L. Gannon received her BS in Microbiology, minor in Chemistry from California State University at Long Beach. While earning her undergraduate degree she worked for a small food company designing and implementing microbial count protocols on probiotic products. Upon graduation she worked for 5 years as a microbiology research associate with an antimicrobial pharmaceutical research and development company, where she tested the efficacy of combinatorial chemistry compounds.

She earned her Juris Doctorate from the Golden Gate University of Law, where her studies focused on Intellectual Property Law. During law school she worked as a clerk on several high-stakes pharmaceutical patent litigation cases.

As a licensed attorney, Carla has worked for solo practitioners, small firms, medium firms and larger firms. She has practiced Intellectual Property Law exclusively, with a focus on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications.

Carla is licensed to practice law in North Carolina, California, and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
