See our website at .  I assist corporate, individual, and municipal clients dealing with complex legal disputes arising on the NC coast. Those disputes concern  a wide range of legal matters from "A to Z" (e.g., from Abandoned vessels and structures on the coastal waters to coastal Zoning). I resolve them wherever necessary -- be it before the state and federal courts; or federal, state and local government officials, bodies, boards and commissions; or mediation and arbitration.  Frequently recurring disputes deal with coastal management, municipal, insurance coverage, business, contract and tort matters. I also serve as the Town Attorney for Topsail Beach and have served in that capacity for the Town of Carolina Beach.  Before moving to the coast, I practiced law in Raleigh NC for approximately 25 years. I remain heavily involved in civic matters.
