Meleisa Lane is not a good lawyer. She simply is about the money first and will bill you for everything. Once you retain her she will still tell you she is unable to comment on certain things that are asked. She is very unprepared and in return will leave you very unprepared at the most critical poin...ts in your case and life. If you are considering this attorney I highly recommend you keep looking as she is good at one thing and one thing only --- taking your money and leaving you to fend for yourself. She had me writing affidavits in the law library at the court house after the court hearing had already started. I had to keep her organized and felt she should have paid me for the work I did on my own case. She will send her associate to handle your case most of the time and that to me is very poor representation. Stay clear of this one if you want to have positive outcomes on your case. I had to get my own results through mediation and hiring a different attorney. She isn't good at all at being a lawyer and should probably be in a less demanding career that she can actually handle. Don't hire enough said!!

I had my world turned upside down last year, when my 4 year old daughter was un rightfully ripped from my arms!!! I tried to fight with another attorney and she did nothing for me after 3,000 dollars to prevent anything from happening. I was heartbroken scared and torn in half by that lawyer. I looke...d around to try and find a lawyer who would hear me out and help me win my baby back. Then I found Meleisa Lane. After our initial appointment I left feeling confident she always called me to keep me updated and always made sure she had everything she needed to help me. She has been fighting tooth and nail for almost a year to help me get my baby back. I have always been able to get a hold of her and she has always made a 100% effort to call me and help me feel confident about our case. I have had times where I would call the office in a terrible crying fit scared about my case and started to self doubt. She always sat right on that phone with me and pretty much held my hand through the whole fit. I feel like I'm not just a client I feel like I'm a family member or a sister to her. She has been amazing with me and my case sometimes I have even argued with her to the point where I unknowingly raised my voice and she sat there and comforted me and calmed me down where as anyone else would have hung up or yelled back. she never does that to me she just talks to me and makes me feel confident and calm again. I love her soo very much for this. Child custody cases have the ability to turn people into wrecks!! But Meleisa has made this journey for the custody of my beautiful baby girl and my gift from above a less stressful one. our court date is almost here and were gearing up for our pre-court appointment and I know that when that day comes I'm going to walk in that court room head held high with her at my side and fight for my daughter!!!! I know I have a wonderful lawyer who is there to fight for whats right for my child and me and am so proud to call her my Lawyer! Shes always there for me and when things start falling down shes there to catch them and put them back up. I thank God every day I found her. I would recommend her to anyone but know this you have to do some foot work as well to give her things she may need if she doesn't have it and if you are fighting for your child you know that as a parent you know whats right and you know your case better than anyone so you need to make sure you give her anything that is vital for her to have because she cant do it alone and it is your responsibility to help your lawyer so they can help you. I know this from experience I did the same for my old lawyer and she failed me anyways!!! So there was no excuse for her but I have given Meleisa everything I thought she needed and she helped me get the rest and has never left me stranded she has taken care of things and been on top the entire time!!! I don't know what I would have done this whole time without her. So in short sense I would recommend Meleisa Lane for your Child custody lawyer she smart funny kind and above all she gets the job done.. Enough Said. Christy T. A happy current Client.....
