Mark L. Waple

I would discourage hiring Mark Waple to represent anyone. I have paid my US$6,200 retainer to handle a simple administrative matter and Mark has consistently failed to respond since March of 2013, citing that he was at trial and simply allowing his messaging service in Fort Smith, AR to field calls a...nd ignore communication efforts. I am now without a lawyer and the matter is not resolved although I am out US$6,700 dollars in expenses. He failed to represent me at the board and has refused since September, 2013 to respond to repeated inquiries about his progress and/or status of my case. I now have to hire another attorney to bring suit against him and his firm for return of my documents and stolen funds. I have only recently learned through the North Carolina Bar that he is fraudulently claiming a disability and that a successor trustee has assumed his responsibilities. I am now involved in adjudication with the NC Attorney Client Assistance program for fee dispute resolution, and am subsequently pursuing disciplinary action through the NC Grievance Committee. Mark Waple is a fraud and thief, who should be disbarred from practice and prosecuted as a criminal. Do not make the same mistake I did; do not hire this piece of garbage who reinforces the majority opinion of those in the legal profession.
