When I first started with Kristen, I was under the impression that the $5,000 retainer she took meant she was representing my case. We had been given generic documents with other clients names, and had appointments she personally made canceled to deal with other clients. Finally I found out she has n...o litigation experience and turned my case over to Lisa, who in her words told me I wouldn’t make a good witness on the stand and she didn’t want my mother to be thrown out of the court room, like we are raging animals. Lisa was convinced that my ex’s attorney was intimidating and would be favored in court even with a domestic violent background I decided to go with another attorney. Neither of them came out to discuss the bill or dismissal even after I was honest and let her know what I had planned

I contacted Passenant & Shearin law firm 3 days before my court date, and they were able to see me the same day I called. They were willing to take my case even with only a 3 day notice, but they felt like with a little bit of guidance I could do it myself. Kristen sat down with me and went over e...verything I needed to say and bring with me. Her enthusiasm and confidence gave me the confidence I needed to do this on my own. She could have easily taken my money and represented me for my case, but she was honest and told me that she felt I could handle it. Needless to say she was right I did everything she told me to do and I won my case. I don’t think I could have done it without them.
