Dependable Attorney

As senior citizens, John Potter throughly understood our objectives in setting up our Trust. He has followed us closely since establishing the Trust and continues to offer advice through seminars, news letters, and personal contact.

A Professional and Personal Law Firm

It was a pleasure working with John Potter when we created a family trust. He guided us through the several steps required to establish and load the trust. To us, this is a fairly complex process, and John took the time and effort required to understand our particular situation and needs. It was (alm...ost) fun to see how the protection of our assets was being accomplished. John is creative in finding solutions to situations that lie outside of the ordinary. We were never rushed and never felt that any of our questions were too simple or too complex to answer. John is experienced, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The same can be said of Donna McRee, who handled some of the details associated with loading the trust. She conscientiously followed up on all outstanding items until everything was completed.

His knowledge of N C estate law ensures that nothing is overlooked when preparing a trust portfolio, customized to the particular needs of the client. Combine this with follow up classes an...d meetings to further assist and educate and you will have a relationship with an attorney you can trust.

Outstanding Customer Focus

We found John to be helpful & thorough. Setting up a trust is very intimidating and John was patient and insightful. We feel comfortable that all of our goals for our estate planning were met.

Attention to Detail

We were most pleased with the manner in which Mr. John Potter addressed our desires in restating our family trust. The end result was a document that reflected all our plans and instructions. The step by step process ensured a final document that was correct in every section.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
