Ashley Bartolucci

Ashley Bartolucci represents healthcare providers, corporations, and insurance companies involving claims of professional negligence and general liability. Ms. Bartolucci uses her experience as a prosecutor in the development of her cases with the knowledge and skill to handle claims from pre-suit through jury trial, including investigation, discovery and pre-trial motions. In addition, Ms. Bartolucci has defended her clients before the Office for Civil Rights and various licensing boards including the North Carolina Boards of Nursing and Medicine and the North Carolina State Bar.

Ms. Bartolucci has successfully defended numerous providers through HIPAA breaches and personal data security breaches and the corresponding federal and state law requirements and investigations. Ms. Bartolucci assists her clients in ensuring their compliance with HIPAA and preparing tailored HIPAA risk analyses. She also represents medical providers, companies, and service providers in litigation for invasion of privacy claims, including successfully dismissing plaintiff’s claims for causes of action based on HIPAA. She also represents other attorneys, CPAs, and companies regarding wire fraud matters.
