I was looking for an attorney to come to a 20-30min court custody review. I contacted Mr. Navarro and over the phone I explained the circumstances. I made sure he understood that I was looking for someone to help with my review. He assured me that he could do it and he wantted us to meet. He informed... me that 1st consultation was 175 but that was going towards the representation. I though well that's too hight for a consultation considering how many attorney you have to meet before you select one, and not knowing if he will be a good one. A lot of attorneys have give free consult for a limited appearance case. But since he said he could come to court and that was going to go towards the The total fee, I imagine I will not lose by paying. I WAS FOOLED, during the consultation he didn't seamed interested in helping, he told me things that I already know about custody process. He pretty much said "go on your own" is not that a big deal. After I been litigating custody for 9yrs, to paid 175 to heard the same things, when all I wantted was to have some one come to my court review, its a big deal. I also found him not knowleaheble. This kind of consult is not wort a penny. Would I have not trusted his words I will have never come to see him. I do not recommend people to go with expensive consultations, unless they know what they are paying for is worth it. Good Ethics is a big deal for me. I do not recommend this.
