The case involved many novel legal ... theories, including partnership and agency theories, including whether an implied contract with the State may be breached though legislation, and the scope of promissory estoppel against the State. Our client recovered a settlement in the amount of $1,050,000 million in cash and debt forgiveness of $522,585. We subsequently represented two other business and obtained recoveries from the State for their losses.
