I was charged with a DWI along with some other traffic tickets. I was overwhelmed with how to handle it and who would be the best lawyer... there's just so many lawyers out there its hard to choose the perfect fit. I was talking with a regular at my bar explaing my legal situation, this friend is so...meone I've known a long time and trust very much. He immediately recommended Jeffrey Thompson. I reached out to Jeffrey, we met and he was very professional, I liked him right away. He was patient with me and he never failed to make sure i understood exactly what i was up against. Mr. Thompson couldn't even be bothered to read the criminal summons for my case...if he had, he would have noticed that the complainant's multiple perjured statements therein...and that the da could not authenticate any evidence delivered by the complainant because of said perjury. Instead...I was... advised by Mr Thompson to agree to a conditional discharge, which he described as requiring only completion of a dvi class for the case to be dismissed--a materially inaccurate description/characterization of the conditional discharge route to disposition.
