Meredith Lynne Murchison

At Southpark Business Law, Meredith L. Murchison provides practical, business-focused legal counsel to companies, executives, and entrepreneurs. Meredith’s practice includes contract law, corporate governance, business transactions, risk management, and employment and HR-related issues.

Meredith’s background includes practicing with a multi-office North Carolina law firm known for its representation of financial institutions in creditors’ rights, real estate, and default-related litigation. In that role, Meredith focused on interpreting complex commercial agreements, conducting legal research, assisting with litigation strategy, and preparing detailed legal filings. Meredith also gained experience at the Center for Constitutional Studies at the Cato Institute in Washington, D.C., where she served as a legal intern researching and drafting analyses on constitutional issues for amicus briefs and policy discussions.

Meredith earned her Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law and her B.A. undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina.
