Matthew Bowles

Matt Bowles is an experienced business lawyer and entrepreneur.

With more than a decade at international law firms Hogan Lovells and Jones Day, Matt has represented some of the world’s largest companies and innovative leaders on their most significant, transformative transactions. He’s advised on more than a hundred deals across the value spectrum: sub-$1m add-ons and commercial transactions to $15b+ public company mergers. M&A, joint ventures, licensing and commercial agreements, general corporate and securities counseling—whatever the matter, Matt provides practical advice to protect his clients’ interests. His deal work spans industries including consumer products, industrials, aerospace & defense, technology, health care, real estate, energy, professional services and food & beverage.

Previously, Matt was an operator for Goodyear Tire & Rubber where he led a team of 30 people and before that a reporter. A creative at heart, he enjoys learning about clients’ visions and helping execute on those while developing ways to improve the legal service experience.
