Biography
Jake E. Floyd earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology, cum laude, from Western Carolina University in 2018. In 2022, Jake earned his J.D. from Campbell University’s Adrian Norman Wiggins School of Law where he was a member of the Gailor Family Law Litigation Clinic.
Jake was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2022 and the North Carolina Bar in 2023. He is also a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association, and Mecklenburg County Bar. His practice concentrates on workers’ compensation, personal injury, and wrongful death cases.
Jake grew up in the rural town of Walnut Cove, North Carolina, located just outside of Winston-Salem. Growing up on a farm and in a blue collar community, Jake is a strong advocate for the injured worker.
Jake now resides in the Charlotte area where he enjoys spending time outdoors, working with his hands, and walking his dog.
