I hired Attorney David L. Hitchens for a divorce during the onset of Covid. There was not one unanswered call, text, or email. He made my case a priority and kept me informed the entire process of my divorce. I will use him in the future, if anything ever arises again. Mr. Hitchens represented me in a YFS court subdivision. He is by far one of the best attorneys that I have ever had represent me. He always looked out for my interests and when I had an issue, he was quick to handle it. He even helped me handle a criminal court issue when he wasn't even hired to repr...esent me. Stay away from this guy if you have a custody case, messy divorce, or any type of Family Law case in general that requires actual litigation. I sat in court with this man representing me, who failed to express to the judge the nature of the case and let the other attorney set the agenga, who failed ...to submit paperwork to the judge following the hearing, and who let the time limit to file for review expire even though I was twice weekly contacting him for an update. I have since found another attorney, and will likely have to request additional time from the Judge to adequately prepare. I would imagine David does quite a bit of bankruptcy law, and other non-family law type work since he does not specialize in Family Law. Maybe he excels in those areas.
