Biography

I'm Greg McIntyre and I'm more than just your typical lawyer with a beautiful wife and 6 great kids. I initially became a lawyer to fight courtroom battles which I did for years. However, after working in an environment where the focus was always on the next billable hour, I started my own practice because I was interested in being more than just a lawyer. I was interested in making a difference in my clients lives.

Being a husband and a father has taught me what is really important in life. My clients trust me because they know we share the same values. We want to see our children be successful. We want our families to be provided for if we are not around. We want our legacies to be preserved and to have a guiding hand in shaping our families' lives.

McIntyre Elder Law is built on this client-centered and values-based foundation. I help my clients to make informed, empowered decisions for their families and loved ones, pass on their values, experience (and their assets) to the next generation.

How we are different: My clients know that I will be there for them whether it's for legal advice, a change in the plan or to just have a conversation. I am interested in the longterm relationship and making sure my clients' plans and expectations are being met.

Accomplishing my clients’ goals and objectives are paramount. I use a collaborative approach, including Investment Advisers, CPA’s, and Insurance Professionals. Successful planning requires us to consider all your financial goals, present and future.

I serve on the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club. I am a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). I am a certified attorney with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. I am a proud member of Shelby Presbyterian Church, where my family and I find fellowship and spiritual refreshment.

Heir from out of state

My siblings and all live out of state. We hired Mr. McIntyre and it has been a nightmare. When we asked questions he refused to answer. He would not tell us what the estate was paying for anything. When we asked he would say he would tell us when the estate was settled. Mr. McIntyre had an auction an...d sold antique clocks that an appraiser had appraised for over $20,000 for less than half of the appraised value. Charged his 5% on not just the value of the estate , but on the disbursements also - adding $10,000 to what he was paid. Guard your family and avoid this office.

Knowledgeable and Caring

This law firm is amazing. They handled my mother in laws deed work by using a Lady Bird Deed to ensure the home was kept in the family. The staff are experienced and very kind. Aways greeted with a smile and kind word. They go above and beyond.

Life Saver.

Mr. McIntyre was a blessing to myself and my family this week. We had an unexpected death in the family and a lot of questions and some family drama. He came and sat with us , advised us what to do and helped us every step of the way. His staff was excellent and very professional.. Best lawyer in the State. (my opinion)

Greg McIntyre is by far the BEST ATTORNEY in town. They care about you THE CLIENT as a person and treated me as if he knew me for years! Now we have known one another for years :) This man has called me late at night, early in the morning.... whatever he had to do he did! He was persistant in my case... and his incredible knowledge of the law is just unbelievable! I can never show Greg the appreciation I have for him. I will never use another attorney! I have a new found respect for this man after watching him in action during a jury trial! This is the man you want speaking for you in court!
