I graduated from Virginia Tech in 1992 with a BA in Philosophy. I obtained my JD from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan in 1996. I was licensed to practice law in Michigan in 1996 and worked for 1 year for the Michigan Court of Appeals as a research attorney.
In 1997, I became licensed to practice law in North Carolina and began working with an attorney in Statesville. I opened my office in Mooresville in February 1998 and have been practicing here since. I became a Certified Family Financial Mediator in 2004.
