In 2009 my father retained Legacy Lawyers, PLLC to prepare an Estate Planning Portfolio for my step-mother and himself. He selected Legacy Lawyers, PLLC due to their experience in Estate Planning as well as their expertise in Elder Law. In the preparation of my parents Estate Planning Portfolio Lega...cy Lawyers worked very close with my father and me and kept us up to date of all matters throughout the preparation period. They advised us on all relevant issues, provided excellent advice on key information and always provided timely answers to questions requested by my father and I. Some of the documents in my parents Estate Portfolio included a Living Trust, Funding Powers and Instructions, Living Wills, Trust Affidavits, Health Care Powers, Life Insurance, Gifting, and Memorial Instructions. After the passing of my step-mother in January, 2011 and my father in December, 2014 I again retained Legacy Lawyers, PLLC to provide legal services to handle the Probate and Trust Administration for my father’s estate. The services for this second phase of the work were handled by Nicole L. Johnson, Attorney at Law, at Legacy Lawyers, PPLC. Ms. Johnson was very easy to work with and was very helpful and professional in administering my father’s estate. She communicated very well with me and always fully explained everything related to the Trust Administration. Nicole was always available to answer questions and to provide guidance when requested. Ms. Johnson was very timely with her work and was always able to meet our requested time lines. Attorney Johnson was also very helpful in communicating and providing information to the financial institutions that held my father’s assets.
