 Helping, Planning and Protecting reflect family values that I have lived from early childhood. Born into a large family with all four grandparents, lots of aunts and uncles, many cousins and two younger siblings,I understand the love, laughter and closeness that family ties bring. When my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease during my teenage years, I learned quickly what planning ahead for difficult times meant. It was in this event, that I found my calling and eventually my career.

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and working for many years as a healthcare administrator in the Charlotte area, I  refined and refocused my passion for the elderly and their families while attending law school.

As an Estate Planning and Elder Care attorney, today I continue those values and helps clients navigate difficult situations and unknown circumstances with compassion and dedication. I know that dealing with legal issues that arise in the later stages of life can be confusing and sometimes overwhelming. I am committed to walking my clients through every step of the process to reach the best solution for their families’ individual need.

I have sound experience assisting clients with estate planning,  wills, trusts, asset protection planning, Medicaid planning, advance directives, estate taxes, guardianship, estate litigation matters, elder abuse, exploitation and rights matters, special needs planning, public benefits, and long term care planning.

I reside in Union County and have strong ties to Charlotte and the surrounding areas. As an avid volunteer, I extend the same commitment I have to my clients to multiple community organizations and groups.
