Hannah showed up to the hearing late and unprepared. She was reviewing my case file and asking me questions as we were in front of the judge. After the initial consultation she only spoke with me for 5 minutes by phone and promised to make time to meet again before the hearing. As you can expect, a...ll of opposing counsel's requests to the judge were granted since Hannah did not know the case enough and had no objections. As a result my children were court ordered to be around an unfit parent against their will. My heart breaks as tears run down my face every time they are ripped from my arms . I thought I was hiring the best of the best but I was so wrong. Unfortunately attorneys have no accountability. They make the same amount whether they help you or not. I learned the hard way that you are the best advocate for your children. Demand that the attorney spends a good amount of time on your case in front of you prior to the hearing. They are too busy and cant be trusted to do it on their own. Be a pest by emailing, texting and calling to ask questions. It is YOUR job to ensure that your attorney knows your case before the hearing NOT during. You paid for that service make sure you get it.
