I have over 10 years of experience as an Attorney and a proven track record of providing legal advice and services for complex healthcare transactions that ensure legal, statutory, and regulatory compliance.

Experience spans healthcare law, insurance defense/litigation, federal courts, and surrogate practice.

My background includes Assistant General Counsel at Vidant Health where I successfully advised healthcare corporate entities and affiliates on relevant legal issues including state and federal laws, statutes, regulations, corporate policies and practices, licensing and credentialing, and medical staff legal matters. Equally strong providing general counsel to support human resources on employment matters, including ADA, FMLA, EEOC, and personnel issues. 

I am particularly strong in partnering with stakeholders to translate complex issues into actions, minimize risk and favorably resolve issues.
