We successfully prevented the eviction of a tenant after the landlord/owner defaulted on the mortgage loan. Under new legislation passed last year, we were able to argue successfully that the foreclosi ... ng bank had to honor the terms of the existing, written lease agreement. The client, and the client's two young children, continues to occupy the residence.
