Poor customer Service

Called to get an intake and ended up being insulted. Was told it was “staggering” about my husband’s situation -basically indicated it was his fault-at which I told her it was an “inappropriate” and she couldn’t understand why I thought that way- stating “ how she personally thought it was staggering...”. Arguing about what getting a cop to assist can do and her 20 something years of experience. You would have thought I was talking to the attorney instead of getting a COI confirmation. No matter her opinion-it was unprofessional to argue with a (not anymore) potential client. She really didn’t know our situation nor did she need or want to. Basically a horrible horrible first experience. Sad part is that we have family that has used this firm-not anymore I’m sure after this. Others may have had a great experience with legal counsel- but the woman who answers the phone needs some customer service training. Folks are already dealing with enough in a family law matter -they don’t need the added stress of a law firm representative who thinks it’s more important to argue her “judgment” than trying to help someone who is worried about their kids. I thought that was the most important thing-the kids. Refused to even get the consultation based off her staffs rudeness and giving out legal advisements.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
