Biography
Mark L. Hayes graduated with Honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law and then clerked for Chief Justice Sarah Parker of the N.C. Supreme Court (now retired). A former high school teacher, Mr. Hayes enjoys teaching the occasional course at the law school. Mr. Hayes graduated Magna Cum Laude with his B.A. from Vanderbilt University and, long ago, was valedictorian of his high school class. He has been married for many years, has five children, and is a deacon in his church.
