Robert was hired by my teenage son to help resolve several charges that stemmed from one traffic stop. The charges were significant and could have impacted my son for the rest of his life, despite it being a one-time mistake that hurt no one. Robert was patient, explaining the potential impact of t...he charges and clearly outlining what my son could expect. He worked with the DA to negotiate pro-active steps that my son could make to take responsibility for his mistakes while also giving him hope of an outcome that wouldn't scar his record forever. Through partnership with Robert, my son completed these requirements (courses and community service) to get the charges reduced. BUT the biggest praise for Robert came during a period after we thought the case was over. Due to a clerical error, some of my son's charges were split between two different cases and court dates. After a no-show for one of these cases (that neither my son or Robert were aware of), my son's license was revoked and significant fines were imposed. Literally within one hour of me contacting Robert, he had gone to the court house, identified the errors, met with the DA (during which the charges in this second case were dropped), and was filing paperwork to have the DMV rescind the revocation of my son's license. If my son's license would have been revoked and/ or these charges would have been on his record, I think my son would have taken many steps back in his long, slow improvement he has been making over the last year. I honestly thank Robert for not only quickly solving this legal pitfall, but also being an advocate with impact for a young man who is trying to turn his life around.
